we were running a bit late due to some major traffic tieups in Houston Texas. We call the front desk she assured us not to worry our room would be there for us waiting and she would do her best to make sure I stay was a pleasant one. The next morning we woke to a very well-stocked and complete hot breakfast bar. It was quite tasty. Also, they serve community coffee, which is one of my favorite, which just made the stay that much better. I would highly recommend if you’re overnighting through Lufkin or have some time to spend it will be at a pleasant experience.

The person at the counter was sweet and helpful, and she offered us cookies and candy while she checked us in. We had a super comfortable king size bed and a large sofa that was spacious ( I would have preferred fabric upholstery instead of faux leather). The bathroom was big and well stocked. The refrigerator had complimentary bottled water in it. The room had a decorative Tuscan flair, and there was plenty of lighting with several lamps as well as ceiling lights.

Everything!!! I needed to check in 3 hours before and Robbin at the front desk made it happen. She was very friendly and profesional. Penny had the dinning room spotless and made sure that food was hot, fresh and tasty. Thank you Robbin and Penny!! Oh, and David, the man in charge of security, made sure I was not locked outside and assisted me with a smile on his face twice. what a great experience!!

The booking price online was quite high, however, once I arrived I asked for a senior discount. The manager obliged and lower the price…kudos! Also, the place is very vintage, which my guest loved! First hotel I’ve ever been in that has a ceiling fan 😀! The breakfast was awesome! Enjoyed the putting green. Excellent place to stay during your visit to Lufkin!!!

had to cancel booking due to Hertz cancelled our car hire because of flight delay of 1hour 40mins flight but this hotel went above and beyond so impressed with your kindness and support will always be grateful during a very stressful time. thank you doesn’t say what we feel. 100% recommendation great breakfast by the way.
